Terms of Service

When you create an account, give accurate and current information, and keep your password safe. You’re responsible for activity under your account, so let us know promptly if you suspect unauthorised use.

Content you provide, including usernames, display names, and messages, must not contain:

• Profanity, obscenity, or vulgar language
• Racial or ethnic slurs, or hate speech
• Sexually explicit or offensive material
• Threats of violence or harassment
• Content that promotes discrimination based on race, ethnicity, gender, religion, sexual orientation, disability, or national origin

Usernames and display names are subject to automated content filtering, and may be rejected or removed without notice. You can block and report other users from within the app.

Enforcement. On a first offence, your username or display name is reset and you receive a warning. A second offence suspends your account for 7 days. A third offence permanently terminates it.

We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behaviour. For severe violations such as slurs or threats of violence, we may immediately remove content or terminate accounts, regardless of prior history.

MidWhereAh helps your group find fair meeting points and discover venues using real travel-time optimisation. Meeting points, venues, deals, and recommendations are suggestions to help you decide, not guarantees of accuracy, availability, suitability, or outcome. Travel times and venue details come from third-party data and may be wrong or out of date, so please confirm anything important yourself. We may add, change, or discontinue features over time.

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality remain the exclusive property of MidWhereAh and its licensors, protected by the laws of Singapore and other countries. You keep ownership of the content you create, but grant us the licence needed to operate the Service, for example to store and display your messages to your groups.

The Service surfaces and links to third-party venues, deals, maps, and websites we don’t own or control. We’re not responsible for their content, availability, or practices, and showing a venue or deal isn’t an endorsement.

We may suspend or terminate access immediately, without prior notice, for any breach of these Terms, or to protect the Service or its users. You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, MidWhereAh and its team won’t be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for decisions you make based on meeting points, venues, or recommendations.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions.
